Alyson Hackett was living an ordinary life, raising her children and working full-time when her friend Nancy suggested she sell the cookies she sent to her friends. After some gentle nudging by Nancy, Alyson took the plunge and decided to open a business.

But, what to call it? After a brainstorming session with her friend Cindy, she settled on the name Mucky's Morsels.

Now, you might wonder, just who is Mucky? Well, Mucky is actually Alyson's father, Mel, who was christened with the name after Chase, the oldest grandchild, changed Grampy Mel to Mucky and the name stuck.

From the name, to her official taste testers -- her husband, Brian; and her children Braeden and Delainey -- Mucky's Morsels is truly a family venture.
